The MindMe Locate is a small, discreet unit which can be used to ensure that a loved one can be found safely if they have wandered, for example for someone living with dementia.  Safe zones can be created around areas which will automatically create an alert to family and carers if the person leaves or enters that area.

How does it work?

The MindMe Locate sends its location to the MindMe system every few minutes from anywhere in the World, as long as it's charged and there is a mobile signal. The system will send email or text notifications to carers and family when the device enters unsafe zones or leaves safe zones. 

How does it help?

When on a person who sometimes wanders and doesn't know how to get back, the MindMe website can be accessed and loved ones or emergency services can easily find where the person is on a map.

Who does it help?

It helps to reassure family, carers and professionals that the service user is safe. If the service user is about to enter a dangerous situation their support network is notified to go and help.

How do you operate it?

The service user does not need to do anything other than wear the device when it is charged. The support network can be set-up to receive notifications when the device is low on battery so it can be recharged.

Key Purchase Information

Supply Basis
The price consists of a purchase price for the device itself plus an initial service subscription.  You will own the device and it comes with a 1 year warranty.

Ongoing Subscription
After the initial subscription period, ongoing monthly payments (£21.15 per month) will be taken by direct debit.

Minimum Contract Period
There is a 3 month minimum contract period.  After this the contract can be terminated at any time.

What Happens After The Order Is Placed?
One of our team will contact you within 2 working days of your order being placed to confirm the details, obtain additional information to allow us to set up the service and arrange for delivery/installation (where offered).  If you haven't heard from us within 2 working days you can call us on 0345 130 1469 during normal office hours.
